If your'e grounded by winds, jeeping is a good Plan B. Outside of 29 Palms Marine base, "Little Baghdad" is way in the distance, Dave providing extra weight for the jeep in the strong winds at the pass.

The air was glass smooth not so much as a ripple. I can see at least out to Catalina Island. I might even fly out to Catalina when I'm done here, I don't know. Maybe up to Walts place to a little landing on the sand strip???
