Where did you fly today?
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!
Did you use a 3 pt landing on that road?

Lynn Sanderson (Dirtstrip) passed away from natural causes in May 2013. He was a great contributor and will be missed dearly.
Flew to the Delta this morning with buzzlatka then went to Clarksrurg to go wine tasting... well Stacey got to wine taste anyways.

Cross Arrow, I have seen photos of that great plane, didn't know who flew it.
I am very impressed with the Highlander and after flying with Steve Henry, I'm ready. Anybody who has one keeps it.....guess I will have to build one!

Out today to find me some big tires...

Found more than I need...These tires where in the middle of nowhere. Maybe 30 miles from the closest town.

A quick drop in...

Over Fort Churchill...

Headed for home... 6 minutes out...

Good day...

A new one for the north circuit. This little house sits 2 miles south of "the bumpy barn" and 2 miles east of "totem pole #2" for those of you that know our circuit here. Have wanted to land here for sometime but never really had the urge. This old house sits on the same property as our other barn and is very friendly to small tires and nose draggers. You have a real smooth road to the old house that is every bit of 2000'. Lucky for me the landing was one of the easier ones and plenty wide as I lost my brakes on the passenger side and nearly ground looped myself today.

Upon inspection I had a small hydraulic leak coming out of the connection and that in turn gave me no pressure in the line...
I am calling this one "the old house". Really beautiful spot...
