Where did you fly today?
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Ya, in Alberta we have just opened right up.

Actually yesterday. Nine flight hours Bozeman to Oshkosh. Been a while since I did one of those. Two four hour legs and one one hour.
Welcome to the humidity!
I’d post pictures, but there wasnt much to see, Celt smoke.

Had the extreme honor of taking this young man for a flight today. His grandpa taught me to fly, his dad and I were good friends and flew a bunch together, and now I get to pass it on to him in his grandpa's and dad's airplane. His grandpa passed away in a traffic accident a few years ago, and his dad, mom, and 2 younger sisters passed away in a tragic helicopter crash early in the year. I'm excited to get the chance to pass their love of flight on to him.

It is an experimental category L19. 185 wings with the 60 degree birddog manual flaps. Modified 180 vertical. Highly modified 172 horizontal. IO 520.
It is a bunch of fun!

Glad to see the old girl is still out there seeing the sights. I hope she’s serving you well still.

Absolutely! I suppose I don't know much different since I haven't flown many different planes and only this one cub, but I love this plane! I plan on many, many more years of adventures in this old girl.

With this much smoke in the sky, I'm not sure where I was, or why I was there. Somewhere between Seattle and Hillsboro, Oregon. Yuck.
