Thanks for asking.

You can get your donation to any of the Gadsden Air Corps guys at the fly-in and we'll make sure it gets to them, or you can do it online or mail it in.. Big Creek Lodge website here: http://www.rebuildbigcreek.com/index.php/donate

been to enough fly ins.. I'm going up for 10 days arriving the 3rd for fly fishing and no crowds, comparatively, but thanks for the info...Too many planes in a narrow valley all at once if you ask me... I'm gonna send off a check.. can't think of a better donation to make than to a Big Creek rebuild...

BCP Annual Fly-In 27-29 June 2014 - with Dog?

I bid time off work for the BCP Fly-In and am planning to fly to ID with my Maule, my friend Heidi and her beautiful 6 month old dog Franco (whom she can't leave behind). Franco would be at the leash (of course).
Are there any objections bringing a dog to the fly in? Of course, if fellow pilots think that an attending dog (on the leash) would be a nuisance, we would sadly skip the fly-in this year.
Any opinions? (I know, this is probably almost as delicate as to start a discussions about religion or politics :D)
Hoping to be there Thursday or Friday...

Dogs are no problem at the fly-in. We always bring Tieton with us.

I think what Aktahoe meant is that if you click the "I'm attending" button on the event page in our events section, you get added to the list. Others can then clearly see who is attending instead of reading fifty pages of forum thread.

Was just looking at that myself. I'm water proof but hope'n for a wx miracle.
Might need to rig up and bring some tarps and poles for a fire pit awning so we can come out of the tents and sit fire side in the event of the non-stop down pour. Still planning to arrive JC on Wednesday.

Tom Weiss perished in a mid-air collision October 12, 2014. He was an enthusiastic and beloved contributor here for close to 10 years, and he will be missed greatly.

Rob,

Hmm... Are you sure you have the right Garden Valley?

The NWS forecast is Mostly Sunny with a high of 87 on Thursday 6/26. DA looks to be the biggest issue. I've never seen winds forecast that far in advance.
