Hanging out on the beach at Naknek Lake watching the Brooks Falls circus. This is my first season bringing folks out here and it's been a lot of fun.

It's sweet; I'm very happy with the performance, this is the engine that should be in all 170's.

Congrats Bryce! You're right—it makes the 170 what it should be.

No need to ruin a picture thread with my useless drivel, pictures can say a thousand words I'm told.

Here's a photo dump from our first summer owning Island 741- Lake Temagami.

New summer home of N185BS.

My son Erik flew up with me- the family drove- he thought that was super cool.

Visiting a canoe group and doing some cliff jumping.

We flew out to Smoothwater Lake and used our alpacaraft to portage into a clearwater lake I love.

Cessna, Alpacaraft, and Hyperlite- an excellent combination.

A day after putting wheels back on- I'm on my last flight back to Colorado- crossing the big rocks. It always blows me away all that a Skywagon can do, at gross at 13,000 feet, and performing great.

Re: Photo Thread: Float Flying

I flew over the island when I was camping on LE the first week in August but no airplane in sight so I continued on, maybe next summer.

A neighbor saw this on Facebook and sent to me because I'm not on Facebook. Me arriving at Almanor Friday evening. I had just "escaped" the big presidential TFR around Reno and Lake Tahoe.

Temagami 2023 fly-in on Lady Evelyn, Durango Skywagon didn't stick around long enough to have his "likeness" capture. He also missed out on Thornloe cheese curds & butter tarts.
